Nonprofit Coaching & Leadership Training Conference 2020, Guest speaker Glenn E. Martin, who has raised over $75 million dollars in the nonprofit sector

During the Nonprofit Coaching & Leadership Training Conference, speaker Glenn E. Martin, who has raised over $75 million dollars in the nonprofit sector and currently is the CEO of GEMtrainers, LLC, delivers a successful formula to raise money for nonprofits in order to focus on achieving their goals of positively affecting communities, impacting laws and obtaining national recognition. Inspired by conference sponsor, Ivan Kilgore, the tenacious and ambitious founder of the United Black Family Scholarship Foundation (UBFSF), who used only tools of pen and paper to build this nonprofit from behind prison walls. Ivan represents what Glenn believes, “Those closest to the problem are closest to the solution.”

Glenn E. Martin partners with nonprofits from across the United States assisting with fundraising, organizational development, and marketing. A longstanding American criminal justice reform advocate, Glenn has won numerous awards, including the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award, Legal Action Center’s Arthur L. Liman Public Interest Award, and the Citizens Against Recidivism Thurgood Marshall Advocacy Award. Guests attending will gain motivation and leave with a new vision to assist with taking their organization to the next level by learning how to sustain, grow and build their nonprofit to benefit their communities.

Dedicated to “Rebuilding the Community from within the Community,” Ivan and the UBFSF members endeavor to create a culture of higher learning and resource development in underserved communities. Ivan assembled talented and vital nonprofit organizers to provide conference guests and people of his home state with the means to expand locally, nationally and globally. He brings to the training examples of his accomplishments through intentional and steadfast goal setting.
